Currently, she serves as the Principal Investigator for pharmaceutical clinical trials related to IBD at Eastern Health. Her research interests expand beyond IBD and include perianal Crohn’s disease and gastrointestinal manifestations of amyloid. Aside from her clinical and research commitments, Dr Niewiadomski is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Monash University, where she plays a vital role in educating and mentoring aspiring gastroenterologists. She has a wide-ranging interest in various gastroenterological conditions, such as bowel cancer surveillance (NBCSP), irritable bowel syndrome, reflux disease, eosinophilic oesophagitis, nutrition, hepatology, and advanced endoscopic procedures like colonoscopy, polyp removal, and capsule endoscopy.
