Dr Adrian Sartoretto is a highly skilled and experienced Gastroenterologist based in Double Bay, Sydney, Australia. He completed his medical studies at the prestigious University of Sydney in 2007, earning a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Dr Sartoretto furthered his education by obtaining a Bachelor of Medical Science from the same institution in 2003.
After completing his medical training, Dr Sartoretto underwent specialist physician training at Westmead Hospital. He then undertook an Endoscopy Fellowship at Concord Repatriation General Hospital in 2015, further enhancing his expertise in the field. He is currently the most experienced Proceduralist in this field in Australia. Dr Sartoretto is actively involved in multiple clinical trials and research projects focused on exploring novel devices and therapies within Bariatric Endoscopy. His commitment to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care is evident in these academic endeavors.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Sartoretto also serves as the Medical Director of the Infusion Clinic, which is Australia's first open access infusion service for medically referred patients. He holds the position of medical advisor to the Australian Breath Analysis Laboratory (ABAL) and is involved in utilizing C13 Urea Breath Tests to diagnose Helicobacter pylori.
Currently, Dr Sartoretto practices as a consultant Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist, and Endoscopist at South Eastern Gastroenterology (SEG) in Randwick, Double Bay Day Hospital. He is known for his expertise in Advanced Colonoscopy & Polyp Resection, Nutritional Gastroenterology, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Liver Disease, and General Gastroenterology & Hepatology. His endoscopy practice focuses on advanced polyp resection, bariatric endoscopy, and capsule endoscopy.
