Dr Aiden Lyon

Dr Aiden Lyon is a distinguished Gastroenterologist based in Tugun, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Science with Honours from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and completed his medical training at Griffith University. With a passion for Gastroenterology, Dr Lyon underwent advanced training at the Gold Coast University Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital, and Queen Elizabeth II Hospital.

As a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and Griffith University, Dr Lyon is actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. He also serves on the committee of the Gastroenterology Society of Queensland (GESQ) and is a Clinical Supervisor of Basic and Advanced Trainees for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).

Dr Lyon has a strong interest in high-quality diagnostic endoscopy and colonoscopy, colonoscopy and colorectal cancer screening, large colonic polyp resections and polyposis.
