Dr Carlsen is also proficient in the use of contrast echocardiography to enhance the assessment of ejection fraction, wall motion abnormalities, and LV thrombus in patients with poor image quality. Furthermore, he has extensive experience in 3D TOE assessment of mitral valve pathology. Dr Carlsen currently offers his comprehensive consultation services at John Flynn Hospital in Tugun, Pindara Private Hospital in Benowa, and Ballina Day Surgery in Ballina.
