Dr Robert Puchalski

Dr. Robert Puchalski is a highly qualified cardiologist with several years of specialized training and expertise in the treatment of cardiac rhythm disturbances. He earned his medical degree from the University of Queensland Medical School in 2012 and went on to complete his physician training before pursuing his Cardiology specialty training at The Prince Charles Hospital and Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. During this time, he focused on general Cardiology, coronary artery disease risk stratification and treatment, and advanced heart failure management. Continuing his education further, Dr. Puchalski completed a two-year fellowship in Electrophysiology (Cardiac Rhythm Disturbances) at The Prince Charles Hospital, where he specialized in conduction system pacing and complex ablation. He then completed his 3rd year of fellowship at Monash Heart, where he focused on atrial fibrillation management and complex rhythm disturbances, including AF cryoablation. In addition to his medical expertise, Dr. Puchalski has a keen interest in wine and is currently pursuing a Level 3 certificate in wine. When he isn't treating patients or studying, he can be found supporting his favorite football team, the Mighty Carlton Blues. Dr. Puchalski's procedures include ablation for atrial arrhythmias (atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter), specialized pacemaker skills in left bundle area pacing, ventricular arrhythmia ablation, SVT study and ablation, and cardiac resynchronization pacing. With his extensive training and expertise, Dr. Puchalski is committed to providing each patient with exceptional care and individualized treatment plans to help them achieve the best possible outcomes.
