Dr Michael Ghusn

Dr. Michael Ghusn is a highly qualified consultant specialist surgeon, with over 18 years of experience in the Tweed and Gold Coast regions. Born and raised in Mackay, North Queensland, Dr. Ghusn received his medical degree from the prestigious University of Queensland. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr Ghusn completed his internship at the Gold Coast Hospital in 1993. He then underwent rigorous surgical training based at the Royal Brisbane Hospital, which saw him rotate through various hospitals in Brisbane and regional Queensland.

Determined to further hone his surgical skills, Dr. Ghusn traveled to the UK with his wife and eldest child, where he gained valuable experience in General and Upper GI surgery. After two fruitful years, he returned to Brisbane in 2003 to gain further post-fellowship experience before accepting a VMO position at the Tweed Hospital. In August 2003, Dr. Ghusn set up a private practice at the Southern Gold Coast, where he has been offering top-notch surgical services ever since.
