Dr Russell Manley

Dr Russell Manley is a highly experienced General, Endocrine, and Laparoscopic Gastrointestinal surgeon with a keen interest in upper gastrointestinal and endocrine procedures. Born and raised in Mildura, Victoria, Dr Manley relocated to Melbourne to study medicine and graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) in 2006. He commenced his internship at the Gold Coast Hospital in Southport in 2007 and completed his junior medical and surgical training within South East Queensland. Dr Manley received his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and completed further specialty training in upper gastrointestinal and endocrine surgery at the Gold Coast University Hospital. In addition to his private practice, he is employed as a Staff Specialist at Robina Hospital, where he also holds the position of Deputy Director of Surgery. Dr Manley is actively involved in educating and supervising junior surgical trainees, medical staff, and students from Bond and Griffith universities, where he serves as a senior lecturer. He is committed to ongoing research and regularly attends conferences to ensure he provides his patients with the latest and most advanced clinical care and surgical techniques. Dr Manley is proud to call the Gold Coast his home and lives there with his wife and two young children. He feels privileged to contribute to his community's ongoing healthcare needs and is a member of both the Australian and New Zealand Endocrine Surgery ( ANZES) and the Australian and Aotearoa Gastric & Oesophageal Surgery Association (AANZGOSA).
