Dr Waled Mohsen

Dr Waled Mohsen is an experienced gastroenterologist and hepatologist based in Southport, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. He is currently affiliated with Gold Coast Private Hospital and holds a private appointment there, along with a public appointment at Gold Coast University Hospital as a staff specialist in gastroenterology.

Dr Mohsen completed his medical degree with Honours at the University of Sydney and subsequently underwent advanced gastroenterology training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Liverpool Hospital. During this time, he gained extensive experience in luminal gastrointestinal procedures, liver disease, and functional bowel disease. His areas of expertise include gastroscopy, colonoscopy, liver disease, reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and complex inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
