Dr Emily Guazzo

Dr Emily Guazzo is a highly qualified Otolaryngologist and Head and Neck Surgeon who completed her medical education at James Cook University. She received her advanced surgical training in Queensland, Australia, through the Royal Australian College of Surgeons. Dr Guazzo is a dedicated practitioner who has extended her skills through several local and international centers, including Cambridge University, Bergamo, Italy, and Princess Alexandra Hospital Brisbane, specialising in advanced Otology and Neurotology, Head and Neck Surgery, and Skull Base Surgery. Currently, Dr Guazzo holds the position of Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland, where she imparts knowledge and shares her expertise in ENT. She has presented numerous clinical research papers at international academic meetings and conferences and has been invited to showcase her surgical techniques at several national and international training courses. Dr Guazzo has also published highly regarded peer-reviewed papers and serves as a reviewer for several national and international academic journals. Dr Guazzo is a passionate and compassionate practitioner who loves collaborating with clinicians and allied health professionals to provide the best possible care for her patients. She has a particular interest in paediatrics and enjoys caring for families. Her interests also extend to head and neck surgery, otology, and skull base surgery. Outside of her practice, Dr Guazzo enjoys spending quality time with family, exercising, and unwinding at the beach.
