Dr Alison Sprague

Meet Dr. Alison Sprague, an accomplished ENT, Head and Neck Surgeon. Raised on the Gold Coast, Dr. Sprague earned her medical degree from the University of Queensland in 1992, and in 2001, completed her Advanced Training in ENT Surgery with a Fellowship in the Australasian College of Surgeons. Since July 2002, she has been practicing in private and public healthcare on the Gold Coast, providing patients with in-depth consultations (up to 30 minutes for new patients and 15 minutes for reviews – or longer if needed), planned surgeries, and diligent post-surgical follow-up. Dr. Sprague is fluent in German and has attended additional training in sinus surgery and sialendoscopy (endoscopy of the salivary gland duct) in both Australia and Germany/Austria. Her practice is child-friendly, yet she enjoys treating both pediatric and adult conditions. As Chairman of ASOHNS Queensland (Australian Society of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery), Dr. Sprague operates at Pindara Private Hospital, Gold Coast Private Hospital, and Gold Coast University Hospital. Additionally, she provides regular outreach surgery to remote communities in Queensland. She is also actively involved in supervising Advanced ENT Trainees at GCUH.
