Dr Richard Ward-Harvey is a renowned vascular surgeon who completed his MBBS from the University of New South Wales in 2000. He further pursued his Master of Surgery (Vasc.) under the guidance of Prof J Harris at the University of Sydney in 2010. Dr Ward-Harvey's training in the leading hospitals of New South Wales, including St Vincent's and Royal Prince Alfred, provided him wide-ranging knowledge of general surgery and vascular surgery training was completed at the Royal Prince Alfred, Concord, Princess Alexandra and Gold Coast Hospitals. He earned his fellowship in February 2011. Dr Ward-Harvey has acquired significant experience in the advanced developments in Vascular Surgery through his training years, which allows him to offer his patients the latest traditional open surgery as well as endovascular techniques. He is thrilled to use his experience and knowledge to provide his patients with the safest and most effective outcomes. Dr Ward- Harvey has a VMO position at the Gold Coast Hospital and continues to serve there. At the same time, he also accepts private patients through his Pindara Private Hospital practice. The hospital provides him with a regular theatre and endovascular list to attend to his patients' needs.
