Dr Hugh Spalding

Dr. Hugh Spalding obtained his degree from the University of Melbourne and gained experience at several hospitals in Southeast Queensland and Cairns. Subsequently, he pursued advanced training in gastroenterology at prominent institutions such as Mater Adult Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital, and Gold Coast Hospital.

Before embarking on his medical career, Dr. Hugh Spalding worked as a veterinarian, primarily focusing on research as a scientist. During this time, he completed his PhD, delving into various aspects of the immune system.

At Southside Endoscopy Centre, Dr. Hugh Spalding offers a range of services, including upper endoscopy and colonoscopy with chromoendoscopy. He also provides consultations in general luminal gastroenterology and hepatology, ensuring comprehensive care for his patients.
