Dr Belinda Jackson

Dr Belinda Jackson is a highly accomplished Gastroenterologist based in Narre Warren, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. She is affiliated with The Avenue Hospital and is known for her specialization in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).

Dr Jackson obtained her medical qualifications from Monash University, graduating with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Honors) in 2002 and a medical degree in 2008. Her training took place at Alfred Health, where she received the Advanced Trainee of the Year award in 2013. She went on to specialise in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, completing her advanced training at both Alfred Health and Eastern Health.

In pursuit of further education, Dr Jackson joined Austin Health, where she simultaneously completed her gastroenterology training and pursued a PhD on eHealth in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Her exceptional skills and dedication were acknowledged with the NHMRC Scholarship and an Avant Doctor in Training Scholarship. In 2019, she successfully obtained her PhD, presenting her research findings at local and international conferences. Her research primarily focused on utilizing eHealth strategies to enhance the quality of care for patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
