A/Prof Ross Sharpe

Associate Professor Ross Sharpe is a distinguished cardiologist with over 25 years of clinical experience in cardiovascular medicine. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Queensland and has since dedicated his career to discovering new and improved cardiac techniques and procedures. He is well qualified and recognised by the Colleges of Physicians, Surgeons, and Radiologists as the first cardiologist in Australia to be trained in Endovascular interventions. A/Prof Sharpe is a cardiologist specialising in interventional cardiology. He has a particular interest in the treatment of cardiovascular disorders through minimally invasive procedures. His expertise lies in performing complex interventional procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, and the closure of left atrial appendage. As an international proctor for left atrial appendage closure, he is sought after for his expertise in this field.
