Dr Preeti Bagga

Dr Preeti Bagga is a highly skilled and accomplished radiation oncologist with expertise in treating a wide range of cancers. She currently serves as a consultant at Icon Cancer Centre Gold Coast University Hospital and Icon Cancer Centre Gold Coast Private, located in Southport, Queensland, Australia.

Dr Bagga completed her Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 2002 from Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College and Deemed University in Pune, India. Throughout her academic career, she demonstrated exceptional expertise and received various awards, including recognition for high standards at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre in India. She also earned the Gold Medal from the National Board of Examinations in India for achieving the highest score in the radiation oncology examination within the Diplomate of National Board (DNB).

To further expand her knowledge and skills in radiation oncology, Dr Bagga completed an overseas clinical placement at the renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute in New York. During this experience, she developed a profound interest in treating prostate cancer.

In 2012, Dr Bagga received a prestigious fellowship from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR). Additionally, she has completed part one of the examinations for fellowship at the Royal College of Radiologists in the United Kingdom (FRCR).

Dr Bagga's areas of special interest and expertise include the treatment of breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, gynaecological cancer, head and neck cancer, and prostate cancer.
