Dr Sylvio Provenzano is an accomplished Cardiothoracic Surgeon who is an exam-qualified practitioner accredited by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. specialising in cardiac, thoracic, and congenital cardiac surgery, Dr Provenzano is a pioneer in providing treatment options to lung cancer patients through the use of video-assisted surgery. He was one of the first doctors in Australia to offer the Uniportal-VATS procedure and has used it in over 90% of his thoracic surgeries with minimal complications.

The Uniportal-VATS procedure is a breakthrough surgery that uses a tiny camera and surgical instruments inserted into the chest through one small incision.
