Dr David Messer

Dr David Messer is a highly skilled oncoplastic breast surgeon who has dedicated his medical career to the Gold Coast community since 2006. He enjoys living with his wife and four children and being a part of the local community. In 2014, he was awarded a Fellowship to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons after graduating from the University of Queensland, which led to a two-year postgraduate fellowship in breast surgery at Hamilton's Waikato Hospital in New Zealand and the Westmead Breast Cancer Institute in Sydney. Dr Messer has completed his graduate certificate in breast surgery at the University of Sydney and is now a part of the faculty.

Dr Messer provides exceptional surgical management of benign and malignant breast conditions. He specialises in oncoplastic breast surgery, including techniques in therapeutic mammaplasty and implant-based breast reconstruction. He is an expert in managing complications from breast implants. Operating privileges allow him to perform surgery at both the Gold Coast Private Hospital and Redlands Public Hospital. He consults with patients at the Gold Coast Private Hospital Breast Centre and at rooms in Premion Place, Southport, alongside Dr deViana.
