Dr Ben Lancashire

Dr Ben Lancashire is a highly specialized oncoplastic breast, endocrine, and general surgeon with a broad range of experience in his field. Originally from Brisbane, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Queensland before going on to pursue Medicine and graduated with Honours. Throughout his specialist training, Dr Lancashire has established a reputation for being an outstanding surgeon and won the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Neville Davis Research Prize. Dr Lancashire is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, and he is also a member of several professional organisations, including Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand, the Australasian Society for Breast Disease, the Australian & New Zealand Endocrine Surgeons, and General Surgeons Australia. Furthermore, he is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr Lancashire is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and Griffith University where he teaches the next generation of surgeons. Additionally, he is an Honorary Adjunct Assistant Professor at Bond University and is currently pursuing a Master of Advanced Breast Surgery with the University of Sydney. Dr Lancashire is an accomplished oncoplastic breast cancer surgeon with particular interests in endocrine surgery, parathyroid surgery, and thyroid surgery, among others. He has both public and private hospital visiting specialist appointments and is a visiting breast surgeon with BreastScreen Queensland. Dr Lancashire is passionate about providing the best care and treatment to his patients, and his commitment to his profession is second to none.
