Dr Maria Teresa Nano

Dr Teresa Nano is a highly experienced surgeon specialising in Breast and Endocrine Surgery. She has been in practice for more than two decades with a focused interest in Breast Disease, particularly in breast cancer care, reconstructive surgery, and breast reduction surgery. Dr. Nano is also adept in Endocrine Surgery with a specific focus on the thyroid and parathyroid glands, performing minimally invasive parathyroidectomies with intraoperative recurrent laryngeal nerve monitoring.

After completing her advanced training in general surgery at the Royal Brisbane Hospital in 1999, Dr. Nano worked as a Senior Lecturer for the University of Queensland at Greenslopes Private Hospital in 2000. She then underwent two years of sub-specialization in Breast and Endocrine Surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital Breast and Endocrine Unit.
