Dr Kieren Brown

Dr Kieren Brown is a dedicated Respiratory and Sleep Physician who currently practices in Brisbane and Ipswich. After completing his medical degree at Griffith University School of Medicine in 2011, Dr Brown underwent specialist training at prestigious medical institutions including The Prince Charles Hospital, Greenslopes Private Hospital, and The Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. He was admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2018 and completed his sleep fellowship at Greenslopes Private Hospital in 2020.

Dr Brown currently serves as a staff specialist in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at Ipswich Public Hospital, as well as a Visiting Medical Officer at Greenslopes Private Hospital and Greenslopes Respiratory and Sleep Centre. He is also a reporting physician for Sleepcare, where he plays an instrumental role in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Brown is deeply passionate about education. He actively participates in the teaching of Respiratory and General medical trainees, junior doctors, and medical students, thereby shaping the future of the medical industry.

Dr Brown is proficient in all areas of respiratory and sleep medicine. However, he manages a vast array of cases, such as pulmonary malignancy, bronchoscopy, radial and convex endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), pleural procedures, and non-respiratory sleep disorders. His expertise in these areas is widely recognized by his peers, and he is an esteemed member of various medical associations, including the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand, the Australasian Sleep Association, the European Respiratory Society, the World Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology, Lung Foundation Australia, and the Australian Medical Association.
