Dr Andrew Nicol, MBBS (UQ), PhD, FRACP, FRCPA, is a highly skilled and experienced Haematologist with a strong academic background and a wealth of clinical experience. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland, Australia, in 1986. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr Nicol pursued advanced training in Haematology and earned his Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 1997.

Throughout his career, Dr Nicol has established himself as an expert in the field of Haematology. He holds dual Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia, highlighting his comprehensive understanding of both the clinical and laboratory aspects of blood disorders.

Dr Nicol's expertise spans a wide range of Haematological conditions, including but not limited to, blood cancers, such as leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma, as well as benign blood disorders, such as anaemia, thrombocytopenia, and bleeding disorders.
