Dr Renee Squires is a clinical haematologist who prioritises the wellbeing of her patients and aims to deliver the best possible care. She received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree (MBBS) from James Cook University. After completing her degree, Dr Squires began her specialist training in haematology, bone marrow transplantation, and haematology pathology at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Townsville Hospital, and Sullivan and Nicolaides Pathology. She is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) as well as the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA).
Dr Squires has amassed a wealth of experience in treating a wide range of haematological conditions, including both malignant and non-malignant forms such as leukaemia, lymphoma, myelodysplasia, myeloproliferative disorders, myeloma, haemoglobinopathies and thrombosis. Her expertise also extends to women's health, obstetric haematology, clotting and bleeding disorders, as well as autologous and allogenic stem cell transplantation and apheresis procedures.
