Dr Michael Holt

Dr. Michael Holt is an accomplished medical professional with extensive training in respiratory and sleep medicine. He earned his medical degree from The University of Queensland and subsequently completed his training in respiratory medicine at The Prince Charles Hospital. Dr. Holt was honored with the Fellowship of the RACP in 2014, which he earned after completing his sleep medicine fellowship at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Holt went on to pursue his sub-specialty training and completed the inaugural Mycobacterial Fellowship at Princess Alexandra Hospital in 2015. He furthered his training by obtaining a Colorado Physician Training License to pursue the Lowerre Fellowship at National Jewish Health in the USA. During this prestigious fellowship, he conducted clinical and research work for two years, which was recognized by the University of Colorado.

Currently, Dr. Holt is pursuing a PhD at The University of Queensland and has been published in international journals. He has also presented scientific abstracts and didactic sessions at American Thoracic Society conferences. Dr. Holt holds active membership in the American Thoracic Society and serves on the Program Committee of the Assembly for Pulmonary Infections and Tuberculosis. Additionally, he maintains membership in the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand as well as the Australasian Sleep Association.

Dr. Holt has recently joined Pulmedica, where he is accepting referrals for all aspects of respiratory and sleep medicine. With his extensive training and expertise, Dr. Holt is committed to providing exceptional care to his patients.
