Dr Sophie Willcocks

Dr. Sophie Willcocks is a highly qualified specialist in Paediatric Immunology and Allergy. With years of experience managing and treating a range of allergic conditions, Sophie is passionate about helping children of all ages live full and healthy lives, working closely with families to provide the best possible care. Her expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of food, medication, and insect allergies, as well as eczema, asthma, allergic rhinitis, and other disorders of the immune system. Sophie’s extensive medical training began with a Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Newcastle in 2011, after which she embarked upon paediatric training at multiple metropolitan and regional hospitals throughout Queensland. She later completed subspecialty training in Paediatric Immunology and Allergy at Queensland Children’s Hospital, where she worked as a consultant until recently. Additionally, Sophie is an active member of the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy, staying up-to-date with the latest in paediatric allergy medicine. As a mother herself, Sophie understands the impact that living with an allergic condition can have on both patients and families, which drives her dedication to providing the highest level of care and support to her patients and their families.
