Prof Michael Whitby

After becoming a Consultant Physician in Internal Medicine, Dr. Michael Whitby traveled abroad to develop his skills in clinical infectious diseases and laboratory microbiology. He worked in various locations including Glasgow, Nottingham, and Nairobi. Upon his return to Australia, he founded the Department of Infectious Diseases at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
