Dr Andrew Slack

Dr. Slack is a highly experienced medical professional who obtained his Bachelor of Medicine from Griffith University in 2010. He has vast knowledge and expertise in his field backed by advanced physician training that he received while working at some of the top-notch medical facilities across different regions in Australia including Gold Coast University Hospital, Townsville Hospital, The Prince Charles Hospital, and The Mater Hospital in Brisbane. Dr. Slack has also completed a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology in 2003. Before starting his medical degree, he worked for Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology and Queensland Forensic and Scientific Services. His keen interest in Leptospirosis has led him to conduct extensive research on its epidemiology in Australia and publish many research papers. Dr. Slack's academic pursuits also include a Master of Tropical Medicine and Public Health, which he attained from James Cook University in 2016.

Apart from his vast expertise and educational accomplishments, Dr. Slack has a keen interest in various areas of infectious disease such as infective endocarditis, prosthetic joint infections, chronic Q-fever, fever of unknown origin, and traveler's fever. At present, Dr. Slack provides consultations at John Flynn Private and Pindara Hospitals. With his in-depth knowledge and expertise, he strives to offer high-quality healthcare services to patients.
