Dr David Heyworth-Smith

Dr David Heyworth-Smith is a highly experienced Clinical Immunologist and Allergist with a special interest in vasculitis, autoimmune disorders, hereditary angioedema, drug allergy, and food allergy. Graduating with honors from the UQ School of Medicine in 1993, he has been practicing as a medical professional for over two decades. David's vast experience has seen him elevate to the status of being a Fellow of both the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA).

David commenced private practice at Greenslopes Private Hospital (GPH) in 2005, after working as a Staff Specialist at Princess Alexandra Hospital and Royal Brisbane Hospital. He operates as an Immunopathologist at QML Pathology and is also a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at Mater Private Hospital and Wesley Hospital. In 2011, David co-founded The Compass Immunology Clinic at GPH with his colleagues.
