Dr Liam Krebs is a highly qualified Respiratory and Sleep Physician with a special interest in acute and chronic respiratory medicine and sleep medicine care. He graduated with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Griffith University School of Medicine in 2011 and has undertaken extensive training in several reputable hospitals across Brisbane. Dr Krebs completed a Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he gained valuable experience in diagnosing and treating various sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnoea and movement-related sleep disorders. In his role as a Respiratory and Sleep Physician, Dr Krebs has a wide range of experience in managing respiratory conditions such as COPD, asthma, pulmonary nodules, lung cancer, pleural disease and Bronchoscopy including Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) diagnostic procedures. Additionally, his expertise in sleep medicine extends to complex ventilation, commercial driver review, and overall care for patients suffering from sleep disorders. Prior to his medical career, Dr Krebs worked in Occupational Therapy at Redcliffe and Caboolture Hospitals, where he developed a passion for providing holistic, pragmatic, and patient-centred care. This background has given him a unique perspective on patient care, and he is known for taking a more personalised approach to his patient’s treatment. Outside of medicine, Dr Krebs enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing his interest in ultra-trail running. He is committed to leading an active and healthy lifestyle to maintain his own physical and mental wellbeing while setting an example for his patients.
