Dr Hannah Burns

Dr Hannah Burns is a highly trained and accomplished ENT surgeon with extensive experience in both adult and paediatric healthcare. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Victoria University, Wellington, New Zealand before moving to Brisbane where she attained her medical degree from the University of Queensland. She conducted her internship and residency at the Royal Brisbane Hospital before undertaking surgical PHO roles in Queensland and Sydney. Hannah completed her advanced training in ENT in Queensland and went on to obtain her fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2008. Dr Burns’s expertise is rooted in her ethos to constantly expand her skills and explore new opportunities for growth. She developed a keen interest in paediatric airway disorders during her fellowship in Paediatric ENT in London, UK. Her focus on paediatric airway disorders has continued to shape her practice, and she has joined the VMO positions at both the Royal Children’s Hospital and Mater Children’s Hospital. Dr Burns operates out of HSN and North West Private Hospital and accepts referrals for both adult and paediatric ENT patients. Her work in the field of ENT reflects her exceptional knowledge as well as the passion and enthusiasm she brings to her patients' care.
