Dr Julie Agnew

Dr Julie Agnew is a highly experienced ear, nose, and throat (ENT) surgeon with a strong focus on paediatric surgery, thyroid and parotid surgery, head and neck cancer surgery, and nasal surgery. Her extensive training began with a fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1992, which she followed with post-fellowship training in London, Glasgow, and Brisbane, specialising in head and neck surgery, paediatric surgery, and rhinology. With over 25 years of experience in the field, Dr Agnew has developed a reputation as a leading surgeon and well-respected examiner of her peers. Since 2007 she has been an examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, and in the past two years, she has been appointed the Senior Examiner. In addition to her role as an examiner, Dr Agnew is also a supervisor of registrar training at Lady Cilento Children's Hospital and Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
