Prof Christopher Perry is an ent consulting at 225 Wickham Terrace, Spring Hill QLD 4000. Patients with non-urgent conditions can typically book an initial appointment within 2–3 months. He is affiliated with leading hospitals, including Brisbane Private Hospital ensuring comprehensive care through established medical networks.
Dr. Christopher (Chris) Perry OAM RFD ED is an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology who has contributed immensely to the field over the years. Dr. Perry finished his medical studies in 1970 at the University of Queensland, where he was awarded a scholarship to study medicine. He has since worked as a consultant in head and neck cancer surgery at both the Royal Brisbane Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital. In addition, he has also held a consultant position in paediatric otolaryngology at the Royal Children's Hospital, Brisbane since 1987. Dr. Perry currently serves as a consultant for the Queensland Children's Hospital. As the founder of Deadly Ears, an innovative program for Indigenous health, Dr. Perry has contributed significantly to the healthcare sector. He also served in the Australian Army Reserves, earning a Lieutenant Colonel rank and participating in several missions overseas. Dr. Perry received the Order of Australia Medal in 2008 for his contributions to indigenous health and ENT surgery and is also a recipient of the Paul Harin Medal for Rotary. Dr. Perry is the Chairman of the Multi-disciplinary Head and Neck Clinic at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and has authored several medical textbooks, numerous national treatment protocols and peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Perry has conducted research in partnership with the Royal Children's Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital, Royal Brisbane Hospital, University of Queensland and Griffith University. Dr. Perry has maintained his passion for providing health care in remote tropical areas and, in particular, for addressing Aboriginal health issues. He has trained for four years in Otolaryngology in Australia, further studied at the Royal Marsden (National Cancer) Hospital in London, and the University of Virginia in the USA. He has also been a visiting professor at universities in the United States, Malaysia, and Papua New Guinea, as well as an invited examiner for new ENT surgeons in Australia and other countries.
