Dr Amy Reynolds

Dr. Reynolds is a highly experienced physician who graduated with an MBBS degree from the University of Queensland in 2005. She completed her basic physician training at Greenslopes Private Hospital, and went on to pursue her advanced training in several hospitals across South East Queensland, such as Gold Coast Hospital, Mater Hospital, and The Prince Charles Hospital. In 2016, she achieved her FRACP and went on to complete two additional years of training to become a fellow. As a Cystic Fibrosis Fellow at The Prince Charles Hospital in 2016, Dr. Reynolds was involved in research that investigated factors associated with CPAP compliance and clinical and microbiological factors associated with mycobacterium abscessus in the cystic fibrosis population. In 2017, she worked as the Sleep Fellow at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital/Genesis Sleepcare, where she developed an interest in sleep apnoea in pregnancy.

Dr. Reynolds is passionate about patient education and has worked with Genesis Sleep Care to develop education topics and handouts for general practitioners relating to sleep apnoea during pregnancy. She has also been involved in GP education relating to the optimization of CPAP therapy. Dr. Reynolds is available to discuss individual patient cases and is committed to assisting you in developing an overall health management plan for your patients.
