Dr Sally Meade

Meet Dr Sally Meade, a distinguished General, Breast, and Endocrine Surgeon with over 17 years of invaluable experience. Throughout her extensive career, Dr Meade has honed her skills and developed a comprehensive service that caters to the diverse needs of her patients.

Dr Meade earned her medical degree from The University of Queensland in 1993 before undertaking her surgical training in different parts of Queensland and the Northern Territory. Her journey included working in various hospitals, including the Mater Hospital and Greenslopes Private Hospital in Brisbane.

Dr Meade is a well-decorated fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons with a postgraduate fellowship in the specialty of Breast and Endocrine Surgery. She is also affiliated with various professional organisations, including Breast Surgeons Society of Australia and New Zealand, Australian and New Zealand Endocrine Surgeons, General Surgeons of Australia, Australian Medical Association, International Society of Surgery, International Association of Endocrine Surgeons and Breast Surgery International.

Currently, Dr Meade is a Senior Lecturer in Surgery and the Surgery Curriculum & Examinations Coordinator at James Cook University (JCU) College of Medicine and Dentistry. Her dedication to patient care has earned her a reputation for building strong relationships with patients and their families. She always works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide patients with top-notch healthcare services and better health outcomes.
