Dr Deepak Arumugam

Dr Deepak Arumugam is a highly skilled and knowledgeable cardiologist based in South Brisbane, 4101, in the city of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Seeking to expand his expertise, Dr Arumugam embarked on a two-year fellowship in complex ablation, specifically atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia, at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in British Columbia, Canada. This intensive experience at one of North America's largest ablation centers equipped him with advanced techniques and a deep understanding of these complex cardiac conditions.

Dr Arumugam's dedication to research is evident in his numerous presentations at international conferences in Australia, North America, and Europe. His work has also been published in esteemed medical journals, including The Lancet in 2012, where he contributed to an article titled "A lethal injection?"

In 2013, Dr Arumugam joined HeartCare Partners, which is now known as GenesisCare. He currently practices at Mater Private Clinic and The Wesley Hospitals in Brisbane, with regular visits to Hervey Bay.
