Currently, Dr Ng consults at three Gold Coast locations: Southport, Coolangatta, and Robina. He also performs surgeries at both the Pindara Day Procedure Centre and the John Flynn Hospital. Dr Ng obtained his medical degree from the University of Sydney and completed his training in Comprehensive Ophthalmology at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne. He further honed his skills through fellowship years at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge, UK, and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, where he completed a dedicated Medical Retinal fellowship. Dr Ng is committed to staying at the forefront of technological advances in the field of Ophthalmology, particularly in the area of retinal imaging. His expertise in OCT (Optical Coherent Tomography), Autofluorescence, and ICG angiography has led him to be a significant contributor to the field. To ensure he remains up-to-date with the latest technological breakthroughs and clinical trials relevant to retinal practice, Dr Ng regularly attends international conferences. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Ng has been involved in the Regional Eye Health Program for the past 10 years. He primarily provides ophthalmic services to indigenous patients on the Cape York Peninsula. Dr Ng also contributes to the field of medical retinal research as a reviewer of papers submitted to "Clinical & Experimental Ophthalmology."
