Dr Manzoor Abbas

Dr. Abbas is an accomplished General Surgeon and Gastrointestinal Endoscopist with a remarkable expertise in Laparoscopic and Open Gastrointestinal, Hernia, Gallbladder and Vascular surgery. He has completed five years of advanced surgical training in General Surgery and has been awarded the Fellowship by the prestigious Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Dr. Abbas has an impressive academic background and has held several academic posts, including Associate Professor at Bond University. Presently, he is a senior lecturer at Griffith University and a regular tutor of junior doctors and medical students. Dr. Abbas has a keen interest in research and has published over 20 articles in renowned Medical Journals in addition to authoring a chapter in a book.

Dr. Abbas has trained and worked in leading hospitals worldwide, including the United States of America, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, India, and Australia. Prior to his arrival in Australia, he was a qualified General and Vascular surgeon from India working as a research international associate at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic, Rochester Minnesota.

Dr. Abbas has worked and trained extensively in General and Vascular Surgery in Australia, before being selected for training in General Surgery under the auspices of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Dr. Abbas is highly respected in his field and is renowned for his expertise in gastrointestinal surgery, hernia surgery, gallbladder surgery, and vascular surgery.
