Dr Seàn Holland

Dr. Holland is an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist based on the Gold Coast. Over the course of his career, he has developed extensive knowledge and skills in managing high-risk pregnancies, office gynaecology, and operative gynaecology. Specifically, he has a passion for vulvovaginal disorders, including vulvovaginal pain syndromes, and he is a Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease (ISSVD).

Dr. Holland graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery after completing his Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws at the same institution. As an accredited trainer for PROMPT (PRactical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training), he is interested in the interdisciplinary nature of high-risk obstetric practice. He is also a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist accredited by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRANZCOG).

Dr. Holland places great importance on building strong relationships with his patients. He believes in listening to them carefully, understanding their needs and preferences, and respecting their decisions within an evidence-based clinical practice framework. His partnership with his patients is founded on the fundamental principle of trust, and he ensures that this is maintained throughout the patient-doctor relationship.
