Dr Ashar Khan

Dr Ashar Khan is a psychiatrist based in Benowa, Queensland, with over ten years of experience as a Senior Staff Specialist at Queensland Health Emergency Psychiatric Services. He has been in private practice on the Gold Coast for approximately seven years.

Dr Khan holds several qualifications, including an M.B, B.S, MRCPsych, and FRANZCP. He is also an Assistant Professor at Bond University Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine.

As a sub-specialist, with expertise in ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD)/Asperger’s, Specific Learning Deficits, Dual Diagnosis: Neurocognitive – Developmental Disorders Co-existing with Addiction Behaviour, and Addiction Behaviors, Dr Khan has been practicing for more than 13 years and works with children, adolescents, and adults.
