Dr Pamela Caleo

Dr. Pamela Caleo is a dedicated General Surgeon who is passionate about ensuring the health and wellbeing of the Sunshine Coast community. She was raised in North Queensland and graduated from James Cook University with a medical degree in 2006. Dr. Caleo's commitment to comprehensive knowledge in medicine led her to rotate through different subspecialties before focusing on General Surgery. Dr. Caleo has trained extensively throughout Queensland and received her Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2019. She also underwent an international Fellowship in Colorectal Surgery with the Waikato District Health Board in New Zealand, furthering her expertise in the field. Since returning to Australia in 2020, Dr. Caleo has been practicing on the Sunshine Coast, specializing in general surgical and benign colorectal conditions. As an active member of General Surgeons Australia, she is also a member of the Younger Fellow Advisory Committee and has a keen interest in medical education.
