Dr Greg Orchard is an experienced clinical haematologist practicing at multiple hospitals in the Sunshine Coast region. He consults at the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital, Noosa Hospital, Sunshine Coast University Hospital, and Nambour Hospital. Dr Orchard’s areas of specialization include both malignant and non-malignant haematologic disorders such as lymphoma, myeloma, leukaemia, myeloproliferative disorders, myelodysplastic syndromes, blood cell disorders, and thrombotic disorders.
Dr Orchard earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Queensland in 2000. After working for several years in hospital and community pharmacy settings, he returned to the University of Queensland and completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours in 2009. Following this, he completed his physician training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and advanced Haematology training at the Mater Hospital and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. Dr Orchard also underwent laboratory training at Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology and reported for QML Pathology.
Dr Orchard strives to deliver a high level of care based on the best current practice, and he tailors his treatment plans to meet each patient's individual needs and wishes. His focus on providing comprehensive patient care has earned him a reputation as a compassionate and dedicated haematologist.
