Dr Michelle Morris

Dr Michelle Morris is a highly qualified Medical Oncologist with nearly three decades of experience in treating a variety of solid tumour malignancies. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Queensland in 1994 and completed her training in Medical Oncology at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. Dr Morris also holds a Masters in Public Health.

After completing her training, Dr Morris worked as a Medical Oncologist for Cancer Research UK in Leeds before returning to Australia in 2005. She became a consultant at Nambour General Hospital and has since worked in various hospitals and private clinics. Her experience includes working at Nambour General Hospital, Gympie Hospital, and in private practice on the Sunshine Coast.

Dr Morris currently runs her private practice, Coastal Cancer Care, on the Sunshine Coast. She provides day oncology services at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital, Nambour Selangor Private Hospital, and Noosa Hospital. Her practice focuses on treating patients with breast cancer, gastrointestinal, and urological malignancies. Dr Morris has gained a reputation for her unwavering commitment to providing quality and multidisciplinary care for her patients.

Not only does Dr Morris have a strong clinical background, but she is also actively involved in research and development. She has been working towards improving clinical trial access for cancer patients on the Sunshine Coast. Through her dedication, Dr Morris has successfully secured approvals for various clinical trials, promising better treatments for her patients.
