Dr Kumar Mahadevan

Dr Kumar Mahadevan is a renowned physician who specialises in the diagnosis and management of hypertension, renal anaemia, acute and chronic kidney injury. He completed his medical degree and basic physician training in Adelaide and began his training in renal medicine in Victoria. He then moved to Nambour General Hospital in the Sunshine Coast to work as a Staff Nephrologist and General Physician. Dr Mahadevan has been at the hospital since 2006 and currently serves as the Director of Physician Training, where he is responsible for teaching and supervising medical officers and students. He is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and serves as a Medical Supervisor to students.
