Dr Gavin Lee

Dr Gavin Lee is a highly skilled and experienced consultant nephrologist with a passion for improving patient outcomes. Born and raised in Brisbane, he graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2005 and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2009 before completing his specialist training and becoming a nephrologist in 2016.

Throughout his career, Dr Lee has worked in various hospitals throughout Queensland, gaining valuable experience in chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and renal transplantation. He has a keen interest in glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, and renal transplantation and has conducted extensive research on lupus nephritis and anticoagulation in end-stage kidney disease.

Dr Lee has had significant involvement in teaching both medical students and physician trainees and is currently an Associate Lecturer with the University of Queensland. He is committed to advancing the field of nephrology and frequently attends conferences and seminars to stay up to date with the latest advancements and best practices.

In his spare time, Dr Lee enjoys reading, travelling, and spending time with his family. He is known for his compassionate and caring approach to patient care, and his dedication to excellence has earned him a reputation as one of Brisbane's most trusted nephrologists.
