Dr Michael Bint

Over the last 20 years, Dr Michael Bint has been providing exceptional respiratory and sleep medicine services to the Sunshine Coast community. After graduating with honors from the University of Queensland in 1978, Dr Bint was awarded his postgraduate FRACP in 1985 and went on to complete a Clinical Research Fellowship at The Prince Charles Hospital. During this time, he worked on several research projects, primarily focused on lung cancer, which led to him receiving an Inaugural Clinical Research Fellowship from the Queensland Cancer Fund in 1986. Dr Bint has served as both the director of the Respiratory and Sleep Department at Nambour General Hospital and the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, and is currently employed as a visiting specialist at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital and Buderim Private Hospital. With expertise in all areas of respiratory medicine, Dr Bint has a particular passion for lung cancer and airways disease. Furthermore, he is highly skilled in performing advanced bronchoscopic and pleural procedures. Thanks to his compassionate and dedicated approach to patient care, Dr Bint has been serving as a great advocate for patients, as well as a mentor to numerous physicians throughout the Sunshine Coast and Queensland.
