Dr David Deller is a highly skilled and experienced respiratory and sleep medicine specialist with a passion for providing the best possible care to his patients. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Queensland in 2004. Dr Deller then embarked on extensive training in hospitals across South East Queensland, before completing advanced training in Respiratory Medicine at The Royal Brisbane Hospital and a fellowship year in Sleep Medicine at Greenslopes Private Hospital. With a commitment to providing comprehensive care to his patients, Dr Deller has a wealth of experience in the management of all general respiratory conditions, including emphysema, chronic bronchitis, asthma, interstitial lung disease, sarcoidosis, bronchiectasis, pulmonary infection, and pleural diseases. In addition to his general respiratory medicine expertise, he specialises in lung cancer and interventional bronchoscopy, including endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS). Dr Deller has launched the Gold Coast’s first comprehensive EBUS service, making him the only private physician performing these procedures in the region. Originally from the Gold Coast, Dr Deller is passionate about helping his local community and working closely with patients to improve their health outcomes. He prides himself on his ability to provide compassionate and attentive care, taking the time to listen to his patients’ concerns and answering any questions they may have.
