Dr Ellison Stephenson

Dr. Stephenson is a highly qualified and experienced neurosurgeon who completed her medical education from the University of Queensland. Following her education, she secured a position at various leading hospitals such as the Royal Brisbane Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital, Wellington, and Auckland. With the completion of her neurosurgical training in 2001, Dr. Stephenson pursued her interests in neurosurgery at Frenchay Neurosurgical Hospital in Bristol Post Fellowship, England, where she underwent sub-specialized training for over two years.

Throughout her career, Dr. Stephenson's focus has been on all aspects of neurosurgery. Her special interests include brain tumor management, base of skull surgery, spine surgery, pain, and neurovascular surgery. Her dedication to her profession has led her to provide both private and public service to patients throughout her career. She conducts private operations at Pindara Private Hospital and consults weekly at The Gold Coast Hospital where she operates on patients as required.

Dr. Stephenson is also well-known for her expertise in minimal access spine neurosurgery, neuro-oncological surgery, and endoscopic neurosurgery. Her vast experience and commitment to her patients have made her one of the top neurosurgeons in the Gold Coast region, and she continues to strive towards better health outcomes for all of her patients.
