Dr Vinay Srinivasa

Dr Vinay Srinivasa is a UK-born doctor who grew up in Papua New Guinea before migrating to Australia with his family in 1991. He obtained his undergraduate medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, graduating in 2007. After completing his internship at St. Georges Hospital in London, he returned to Australia to complete his Basic Physician Training and General Medicine Advanced Training at The Gold Coast University Hospital. He then worked at Townsville and Toowoomba Hospitals as part of his Nephrology training. In 2020, he returned to London, UK to complete his final year of Nephrology Training at the Royal London Hospital before finally receiving his dual fellowships in both Renal Medicine (Nephrology) and Adult Medicine from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2019 and 2021, respectively.

Vinay is affiliated with the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nephrology (ANZSN) and the American Society of Nephrology (ASN). He provides a patient-centred approach and is passionate about providing the best possible care to his patients. Vinay is highly effective and quality-focused and has strong clinical as well as communication skills, honed through his practice in a diverse range of clinical environments. In addition to his clinical work, he is involved in education and training of young doctors. He has served on education committees for registrars undergoing clinical exam preparation and has been involved in the teaching of medical students during their hospital attachments.

In his free time, Vinay enjoys spending time with his family and has a passion for music and cricket. He currently works part-time as a staff specialist at Robina Hospital and runs private clinics at Brockway House in Southport.
