Dr Peter Rowan

Dr. Peter Rowan is an accomplished orthopaedic surgeon with over three decades of experience in the medical field. He attended the University of Queensland, where he received his medical degree in 1989, and completed his specialized training in orthopaedics, leading to him being inducted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1998. He went on to further his expertise and pursued his fellowship in hand and upper limb surgery at Duke University and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in the USA.

Dr. Rowan conducts surgery in hand and upper limb surgery, including surgeries of the shoulder and elbow, both in adults and children. He holds visiting medical officer positions at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and the Queensland Children’s Hospital while he also practices at the Brisbane Private Hospital for his private patients. His proficiency in the field has gained him a reputation amongst peers and patients, and he is often sought out for his excellent surgical skills. Dr. Rowan's extensive experience and education have equipped him with the knowledge to provide his patients with the highest quality of care.
