He has worked extensively with the Brisbane Broncos NRL team, offering management and treatment for sports-related spinal conditions. Besides, he has also collaborated with a consortium of 20 global surgeons to research rare spinal tumors, demonstrating his commitment to advancing the field.

Presently, Dr. Williams is associated with the Brisbane Private Hospital, where he maintains a busy practice. He is also the go-to consultant at the Princess Alexandra Hospital for any complex spinal tumor management and other uncommon spinal disorders. Additionally, Dr. Williams is an Associate Professor at the University of Queensland, where he imparts his knowledge to fellow colleagues and students.
