Dr Jimmy Tee

Dr. Jimmy Tee is a highly skilled General and Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary (HPB) surgeon with a specific interest in hernia repair, gallbladder diseases, and surgical oncology. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland in 2011 before obtaining his Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2020. Dr. Tee has completed additional training in liver and kidney transplant surgery, organs retrieval, renal access surgery, and Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary (HPB) Surgery fellowship in Singapore. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Australian & New Zealand Hepatic Pancreatic & Biliary Association (ANZHPBA) and Australasian Gastro-intestinal Trial Group (AGITG), and is credentialed with Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) to perform Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy.

Dr. Tee is the Clinical Director of Surgery at Redcliffe Hospital, where he strives to improve safety and quality of General Surgical services for both patients and staff. He values patient-centered care and is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, ensuring he can communicate effectively with all his patients. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Tee is an accomplished researcher and has won awards for his research on surgical infections and surgical innovation.
